Nice review Gil. I'd like to add that in addition to telling a compelling story through song, dance and acting, Grateful Crane Ensemble was also a great role model for the audience as many of them have never attended a performance where JAs get up and sing, dance and act ......... I have spoken to some people who said they cried during the story of the conflict between the Hawaii boys and the Nisei fellows.... many of
them had not ever heard about it before. It was a great evening!!! Hope somehow the JA community can support Grateful Crane Ensemble's latest production.....
Nihonmachi. It is also well done

Soji send me your blog site. You did a tremendous job of review. It covered all the thoughts my wife and I felt and saw in seeing Soji's musical--I think four times. How wonderful to have the musical shared with the Colorado audience--1000 people--wow!
My wife and I look foward to the JANM Conference in Denver in July, 2008. We hope we will have the privilege of meeting you. Keep up your great job and take care. Sab Masada
